What is a message? A message is information that is passed from an incarnate soul in the Spirit world via a medium or sensitive to a recipient on the earth plane.
There are basically two types of information that is given to a recipient;
An intuitive, (psychic), message, which is information with or around the recipient that indicates often materialistic actions thoughts or memory confirmation. This type of message can sometimes be used to validate the message is going to the right recipient. A Spiritual message, which is information from the Spirit world from an incarnate soul to give proof or evidence, which the recipient would understand and accept. Sometimes a message can be given to forward to someone else.
All mediums will sometimes use a combination of the above types of message to deliver the information to the recipient.
Some mediums will have a communicator from the Spirit world at the start of their message and will describe the relationship to the recipient and details about the communicator, and relationship to the recipient, maybe, personality, and a description of the person. Often it is followed by a personal message of encouragement, support or evidence. Obviously this information is a variable, depending on many factors.
Other mediums will cautiously start with an intuitive message just to confirm they are with the right person, and then proceed to establish a Spiritual link from the Spirit world. During this time ensuring their recipient understands the information and validates any queries, by using intuitive information to confirm they are still working with that person.
Speculative Mediumship, (don't go there please).
It sounds like a bit of a joke where, a medium goes into a room and says” Can anyone take a gentleman in the world of Spirit, who loved ……, (I am sure you can fill in the spaces). This is not a message for the audience, but a message for the medium to stop and work with one person and then try to validate what they are given if possible. Don’t make it fit out of embarrassment or to recover the situation.
The only time when this is permissible is when a medium cannot confirm they are with the person, but may suspect they are in the right area around the person receiving the message. If all fails, try an intuitive message, and if not close the link and move on. Links can sometimes can become corrupted, so it is best to stop and tune in again.
Sometimes the linking from the medium to the recipient is “off beam” so to speak and the message could be for someone else, hopefully near to the recipient?
Time Gentleman please
Well some of you might have heard the expression at a pub when it is time to finish communing with a different form of Spirit?
How long should a message be?
Message at a meeting or service, message should be between 1 to 5 minutes, maximum. You would be surprised how much information can be given in 1 minute. Personal Reading at home or designated place, depending on what is agreed 30 to 45 minutes maximum. If a medium goes beyond these suggested timings, people become tired, and the vibration and attention drops, resulting in a drop in the standard of mediumship.
The message should always be;
